Hi, I’m Lisa, a humanistic and integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. If you are seeking support, experiencing feelings of dissatisfaction within your life or relationships, grappling with the weight of your past or with the challenges of depression or anxiety, I provide a safe, nurturing and empathic environment to help you explore your concerns. For the past few years as a counsellor and psychotherapist, my primary focus has been on supporting individuals who have been impacted by sexual abuse or incest. Additionally, I have experience providing therapy to young adults within an educational setting.
In my previous role within the health and social care sector, I honed my expertise in addressing a wide range of mental health needs, including those of adults with ASD and ADHD. My therapeutic approach encompasses a broad spectrum of concerns, which include but are not limited to ADHD, depression, sexual abuse or incest, and relationship difficulties.
I believe in the healing power of a secure therapeutic relationship, which I am committed to developing with you. I work with the mind and the body, believing that memories are not just stored in our mind but also held within our body and that the greatest level of healing occurs when these aspects of self become integrated.
