It's not always an easy decision to come for therapy and you may decide to come to seek additional support for something that has been worrying you for a while or due to a current upset such as a relationship breakdown or bereavement. I am a professionally qualified therapist with over 15 years experience. The therapeutic relationship allows you the time and space to explore things that are causing you distress and/or anxiety. I can help you to explore your past and how it may help you to understand your current situation. I give you the opportunity to explore the way you are feeling and gain a more empowered sense of self.
I work within a safe and confidential setting, adhering to a professional framework and using my experience as a trained psychodynamic psychotherapist. I have a background in psychology and in mental health, working in the fields of trauma and mental health support alongside working as a psychotherapist.
I work in private practice with adults and have worked in school and university settings. I also manage a range of practitioners working with women with vulnerabilities.
