I'm Lisa Beevers. I am a caring and friendly Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years' experience of working in NHS mental health services, with adults and older adults. In addition to my NHS work, I now have a small private practice offering in-person and online therapy for a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood/depression, grief and trauma. I am also experienced in working with people with memory difficulties and dementia and their carers.

I specialise in helping people who have experienced past or more recent trauma, who have low self-confidence, or have difficulties forming positive relationships. I have training in a number of psychological and therapy approaches, including EMDR, ACT, CBT and CFT.

I believe that 'one size' does not 'fit all' when it comes to therapy. Choosing a therapist isn't always easy and people vary in the type of therapy that suits them. I offer a free 15-minute online or telephone consultation to help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.
