Dr. Lindsay Ip is a Stanford trained Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience providing individual, couples and family psychotherapy in a variety of settings in the UK and US. These include private practice, primary care, inpatient, community outpatient, intensive day programs, emergency psychiatric services and university counselling centres. In her current private practice, she provides psychotherapy as well as conducts assessments for medico-legal reports.
Dr. Ip also works in the NHS as a consultant clinical lead in West London, serving those with comorbid mental heath and long-term medical conditions.
Dr. Ip offers various evidence based treatments such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, EMDR (level 3 trained), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Systemic approaches. She pays close attention to mind-body connections and also offers culturally sensitive and spiritually integrated therapies.
Having lived in the U.K., U.S. and Hong Kong, she holds a multicultural perspective and speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Dr. Ip also holds a diploma in organisational consulting and change and offers executive coaching and resilience workshops for organisations. Previous clients include the UK government's major project leaders and the UK military.
