I love supporting people to grow and heal, to access the resilience needed to face future challenges, so I am no longer needed. You may need to make sense of a difficult past, manage problems in the present or explore fears about the world we live in. You may take time to feel safe to speak about deep feelings. Perhaps you experience blocks to contentment or have a powerful critical voice that undermines your best efforts, preventing you from thriving. It can be useful to try to be curious, to notice and name thoughts and feelings as they arise, I will engage with care and without judgment, helping you to do the same.

I have a lot of life experience, including 28 years working with trauma and/or addiction. I work relationally and collaboratively, this means that it is not only what we speak about in therapy but how we experience working together that supports growth and healing, especially if you have had trauma in your life. We will work out together what you most need.

You are entitled to make an informed choice, so I offer free initial telephone consultations. Speaking with me will enable you to get a sense of who I am and whether you feel safe enough to take the risk to step into a therapeutic relationship with me. It will also enable me to get a feel for you and what your needs and strengths might be.
