When we are struggling and in pain, the need to be heard, understood, to be appreciated and valued is crucial to our healing. I have over 25 years experience working with families, couples, individuals and groups with mental health concerns and/or addictions. I work collaboratively alongside you, providing guidance on your journey towards healing. You know your strengths, areas for personal growth and your feelings. I know how the mind works, about how to push through barriers that hold you back, about recovery and healing. Together we will embark on a journey that is beneficial to you.

I am Miricia, an experienced, fully qualified BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I have many years' experience in the mental health field along with formal training that provides me with a solid foundation to practice as an integrative counsellor. I have worked in private practise, businesses, charities, schools and have also featured on BBC Radio Two. In addition to my private practice I have experience in various mental health settings, having worked in the mental health field for the NHS in London, and as a counsellor for various employee assistance programmes and voluntary community counselling services.

When you feel the need to speak to someone, you want someone who can really understand you and what you going through, someone you can relate to. The relationship is what matters most, you want someone you can find it easier to trust and makes you feel like they can understand you. Working with all age group has given me opportunity to relate to people in so many level, no matter what their going through. Growing up with my great gran, has given me wisdom and insight that I need to top up what I've learn about working with people. Adapting different cultures, environment, learning from people I meet each day, it'll be my honour.
