Hello, my name is Leanne and I’m a Clinical Psychologist based in Hampshire with over 10 years of experience working within the NHS, charitable, and private sectors. I’ve worked with people experiencing a range of difficulties including (but not limited to): Trauma, Anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Stress, Low mood, Self-criticism, Low self-esteem, Grief, and Relationship difficulties.
I have specialisms in working with military populations (actively serving and military veterans), those experiencing trauma, PTSD and anxiety, and in using Compassion-Focused Therapy and trauma-informed approaches.
My training and experience allows me to draw on a range of evidence-based psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Systemic approaches, and mindfulness practice.
I work collaboratively with people to help make sense of what’s going on for them, what’s keeping them stuck, and to find ways to positively move forward. I tailor treatment to each person’s needs and value a warm, compassionate, and empathic approach to help people feel safe during the therapeutic process and supported in reaching their therapy goals.
