Are you struggling with self harm? Do you feel you have problems relating to depression or low self esteem? My name is Leanne Scott and my main field of specialties are mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and all levels of depression as well as self harm, including (but not exclusive too) cutting, burning, breaking bones, object insertion and partial and or actual removal of limbs or body part. I feel my uniqueness in this field lies not only in my knowledge of these mental health problems and self harming behaviours but that I work with clients to help them recover in ways that are tailor made for them.
I am a qualified counsellor with a combined honours degree in psychology and criminology and a passion for working with clients in ways that are as unique as they are.
Mental health and Self harming behaviours can be a difficult subject to talk openly about and often the sufferer can feel isolated and alienated. I offer clients a safe and open environment where these issues can be discussed, heard, believed and respected. I believe that by using this space then together we can build a road to recovery.
