I have over 15 years experience of working with both adults and children and I seek to offer a safe and warm and confidential space to explore and process in the your own time. I adhere to the BACP ethical framework.
Initially, I offer an assessment to understand what issues you would like to explore and any goals you might have for our work together. However, this initial assessment is a guide for us and as our therapeutic relationship develops the themes and goals can evolve and change. We can regularly review these throughout our work.
I offer both trauma informed and trauma focussed therapy - Trauma focussed work may be helpful for people who have experienced or witnessed specific traumatic events. I have significant experience of working with children and adults who have experienced sexual abuse and complex and traumatic bereavement. I am also experienced in working with Domestic abuse.
I take a non-judgemental approach offering unconditional positive regard and provide you a safe warm empathic space for you to feel able to explore whatever might come up for you and at your own pace.
