Hi, My name is Leanne , thank you for clicking on my profile. I am a counsellor and Supervisor. I offer a friendly, non judgemental, confidential space for you to be heard. I worked with leading abuse supporting people who have experienced trauma, domestic abuse and loss. In addition to this , I have extensive experience utilising therapies to help anxiety, trauma, OCD , eating disorders and I am qualified to work with young people ages 8-18 . I am passionate about supporting clients with honesty, warmth and openess bringing both expertise and empathy to your sessions. Together , we can make a happier you.
As an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, my experience lies with anxiety, trauma, grief and relationships. Integrative Therapy allows me to utilise other concepts( TA, CBT, and DBT) but it is the personal centred approach which puts you first, to be heard, allowing us to explore and tailor sessions to support what is troubling you and make change.
I understand that sometimes talking to friends and family is not enough, Counselling is your time to be heard, space to talk to through the things you may have never shared without feeling guilt or pressure. We often talk least about the things we need to talk about the most. Working collaboratively we can help you make the changes you want to.
