Thank you for having a look at my profile! I am a counselling psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals towards greater wellbeing and growth. To assist you on this path, I aim to develop a close, collaborative therapeutic relationship with you to explore your difficulties in a safe and nurturing environment in a way that works for you. I believe that everyone is trying their best to navigate life’s complex challenges with the skills they have, so I bring an empowering and compassionate approach to my work, building on your existing strengths and resources to develop new coping skills.
I am trained in person-centred and cognitive-behavioural therapies, which we can tailor in a way that aligns with your goals and needs. My practice is aligned with anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive values, which means that where suitable, we will seek to understand your difficulties in their wider societal context and make sense of this together.
If you feel like I may be able to support you, I would love to hear from you and meet for an initial appointment or have an introductory call to see if we would be a good fit. I also offer supervision to trainee and qualified practitioners.
