I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns they can't seem to break. Many have experienced difficult childhoods, unhealthy or abusive relationships, or have spent years putting everyone else's needs before their own. They may struggle with attachment, boundaries, identity, trauma, addiction or neurodivergence, often feeling as though something is "wrong" with them. Together, we make sense of these patterns with compassion, helping you understand why they developed and supporting you to build healthier relationships, greater self-awareness and a life that feels more authentically yours.

People choose to have counselling for many reasons. Sometimes we may know the cause but feel stuck with emotions that we can’t seem to change or we can’t understand why we have felt this way for this long. Sometimes there doesn’t seem to be an obvious explanation for how we feel. We may have feelings of low moods, anxiety or feeling overwhelmed but we just can’t put a finger on why. We may also feel isolated or alone in this and that other people wouldn’t understand. Talking through these feelings with a therapist can help to explore these thoughts and feelings to better understand the causes, and explore ways to work through them.
