Hello, thanks for viewing my profile, I hope i can help. I am a person-centred, psychotherapist, with experience in both the voluntary and private sectors. This includes running my own practice from home, as well as more than four years working for an organisation supporting male survivors of sexual abuse. Additionally I work as an associate independent practitioner at a private practice in Leicester city centre. I also carry out some work for an organisation that provides counselling for current and retired sports men and women.
I have experience of working with male, female and gender neutral clients, aged between 16-88 years old, with various presenting issues, including: Depression, anxiety, bereavement, self-harm, body image issues, OCD, childhood trauma, addiction, anger management, sexual abuse, gender and sexuality issues, an relationship break-ups and self-esteem problems.
My therapeutic approach is to help a client to unlock the tools to allow them to become the version of their selves that they want to be, tailoring my approach to suit the needs of the client. I can offer flexible hours including evenings and I have some availability at weekends
