Hello! I'm Lauren, a Clinical Psychologist with 9 years of experience working in mental health services. I am particularly interested in working with adults who are struggling to make sense of the traumatic events that they have lived through, working with people with persistent, chronic pain and women and their families who are in the perinatal period.
I work integratively, meaning I draw from different psychological models to find the most helpful way of supporting people through their difficulties. Usually, I use CBT, CFT, ACT and EMDR within my work.
I value kindness and compassion within my work, paying particular attention to creating a therapeutic space where people feel able to work towards making changes in their lives.
