Hi, I'm Laura Wright (Dip.couns, MBACP), the founder of Calla Counselling, I'm a BACP registered, trauma-informed, humanistic counsellor with experience in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, dissociative disorders, PTSD, domestic violence and abuse, childhood sexual abuse, and the distress of overwhelming life changes.
Together we can find ways to manage symptoms, reconnect disassociated emotions and life events, work through fear, shame, anger and blame and help you to find acceptance in yourself.
I have experience working with adults, young people, and children, working humanistically with elements of creativity. Working humanistically means that I understand that you are the expert on your life, I’m not here to judge you, not to advise you, and not to diagnose you. Instead, I will walk with you, stand with you, and hear you.
