I often work with younger adults in the 25-35 age range, and help you navigate the challenges of this life stage. You might be worried about how a relationship is going, or struggling to find or maintain relationships. You might feel your old coping methods are no longer working and feel anxious or overwhelmed. Therapy can also help with issues around self-esteem and identity. I have worked with people who want to resolve longstanding issues or heal from traumatic past experiences, as well as those who want a space to understand the impact of life transitions and changes. Therapy is a highly individual process, tailored to you.
Psychodynamic therapy can be helpful if you are struggling with issues around attachment, have unresolved issues from the past or have noticed recurring unhelpful patterns in how you relate to others. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and my practice is LGBTQ+ and neuro-affirming and trauma-informed.
The therapy I offer is a deeply individual process that seeks to address what you need. It's a space where you can feel supported and validated, but we'll work hard together to look at things at depth and help you make changes. I believe finding the right therapist is extremely important as the therapeutic relationship is where real change can take place.
