Life can be very confusing sometimes. One minute everything feels safe, steady and like you understand it, then something happens which makes the ground you walk on and everything you thought you knew, unsteady. My name is Laura and I have felt those feelings. Looking for counselling is the first step to making that unsteady ground more solid, those feelings that consume your thought space and impact your everyday life, more manageable and ultimately move that dark cloud which may be above you and surrounding you. I am an integrative counsellor which means I won't be giving you advice, but I will walk alongside you on this journey.
Being an integrative practitioner means we can work in a variety of different ways. We can talk, we can be creative - whichever way suits you, the client, best. I have worked with a vast range of mental health issues and so have learnt to work inclusively as well as in a variety of ways to maximise the most positive outcome in any situation.
I offer an initial consultation online free of charge. This means you get to check me out, decide if I am the right counsellor for you and we start to build a relationship of trust and mutual undertsanding.
