About
I always feel that the purpose of being in therapy is not to be in therapy. It is my aim to empower you to explore your situation, your value system and your relationships and then to think about what might not be working for you and how you might make choices to enhance your life. I invite clients to be curious abut themselves, what makes them tick and how their childhoods and life experiences have contributed to their current status. You may have an idea of what you want to achieve in therapy, you may not, but together we can find out what you want for your future. I also offer walk and talk therapy
I have been a psychotherapist for over 20 years. I have specifically worked on relationships, psychosexual issues, sexual abuse and gender and sexuality issues. I also work with general anxiety and other mental health presentations. I work with very sensitive areas of human experience and as such aim to provide a respectful and kind space.
I went to therapy at a difficult time in my life and found that having somebody listen to me without judgement and bias helped me piece together some of the bits of me that were preventing me from feeling fulfilled. Give me a call, have a chat, and if you feel comfortable, book an appointment.
