Hey, I’m Laura and here’s a little about me.
I believe that sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and that having a safe, non-judgemental space to talk can make all the difference.
I’m a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor with over 13 years’ experience supporting adults, young people, children and families through a wide range of challenges. Throughout my work, I have supported people experiencing anxiety, depression, suicide, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, life changes and many of the challenges that can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves.
For me, counselling isn’t about telling you what to do or trying to change who you are. It’s about taking the time to really understand you, your experiences and what has brought you to where you are today. I offer a warm, compassionate and honest space where you can speak openly, without fear of judgement.
I believe that every person is different, and therefore my approach is tailored to you. Together, we can explore what you are experiencing, make sense of difficult thoughts and feelings, and work towards developing greater self-awareness, confidence and a stronger sense of who you are.
