People generally look for a counsellor because they feel stuck or unable to move forward from unhelpful thoughts and behaviour patterns. You could struggle to connect with others and maintain healthy relationships. You may also feel like you can’t keep up with the people around you; as though everyone is doing better than you are. Self-acceptance and self-worth may be a problem, especially if you are suffering from anxiety and depression. Do you want to move forward and build yourself a sustainable future?
I draw on a range of theoretical concepts to provide an integrative approach. A focus on psychodynamic, relational and developmental theory enables me to strive for a safe and empathic place. I hope to aid my clients fulfil their unmet needs and address subsequent difficulties and feelings that arise as a result.
Alongside private practice I have worked with an agency that specialises in domestic abuse and trauma. I regularly undertake CPD in order to enhance my skills. I also work within special needs education. I provide a safe space for clients to address whatever they may wish to work on, with no judgement and as much support as I can, walking alongside you.
