Hello, my name is Lara, and I am a qualified Pluralistic Counsellor, working with children, young people and adults. I know that life is stressful and it can be difficult to cope at times. You may have low self confidence, trauma or suffer with depression, or perhaps need to talk to someone about family issues. Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, or you have ADHD and feel you cannot talk to those close to you. I am here to offer you a safe place to unpack your burdens where we can explore your feelings together and make space for change.
I am here to listen to your experiences, and support you to share what is troubling you, at a pace that feels comfortable. I have a background working with trauma, abuse, bereavement, loss and childhood adversities. I am a warm, genuine person, offering a professional service. I offer you freedom to choose how we work, maybe including creative methods.
You may have tried counselling before and felt ‘it didn’t work’ or you may feel ‘talking about it, won’t change anything’. I believe our needs change over time and perhaps what helped before does not feel useful now. Together we can explore your feelings and perhaps make new discoveries.
