Counselling in L3
Hello and thanks for stopping. I love what I do. 'Extremely easy to talk to'...'turned things around for me'...'helped save my life' being just a few client comments. I've been qualified since 2013; during that time I've worked with serving police officers and civilian staff at Merseyside Police, those supported by Victim Support Homicide Service, VI Form students, Occupational Health & EAP clients. I know that being a counsellor was always meant for me because I have an affinity with people and being able to be 'with' them. This and my life experience gives me the most perfect grounding to be the best that I can be for my clients.

You may be a high-achieving midlife professional who looks confident and successful on the outside but feels very different on the inside. Anxiety, burnout or self-doubt may have left you exhausted, unable to switch off, and questioning whether you’re “enough.” You might long to feel calmer, more in control of your emotions, and less driven by self-criticism. Perhaps you want clearer boundaries, a healthier balance, or simply to enjoy life again.

Hello, I’m Donna a dedicated and empathic therapist with over 10 years of experience in private practice. I can help you to understand yourself, what impacts you and how this shows up in your life by providing a safe environment for you to unpack and feel your feelings. I cannot take painful events or trauma away, but what I can do is walk alongside you and help you find your way to healing and growth.
Clients often ask me, “does it work?” From my experience, it does work, and whilst this looks different for everyone, why not give it a go and find out for yourself. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy.

Hello, I’m Rebecca. I will be by your side as you explore whatever you wish to share, accepting all parts of you and bringing all parts of myself. As a person-centred therapist I offer a space that is non-judgemental, open and supportive. I offer you space that is just for you, to have the time to be heard and express yourself. I'm passionate about social justice and embed this in my practice, curious about how your identities and life experiences are felt and perceived. It feels like a really hard time to be queer and/or trans at the moment, I'm here to hold you and have understanding and experience. You are welcome and accepted.

The decision to come to counselling can be an incredibly difficult one to make, often made at a time that life is at its most stressful. I work hard to ensure that the process doesn't feel too overwhelming. Counselling is a useful tool if you want to address longstanding issues, make changes in your life or simply have more of an understanding of what has brought you to the point you find yourself at today. I strongly believe that counselling should be affordable and accessible to all, I therefore keep the cost of my sessions to a minimum in order to ensure that you are free to access the counselling that you want when you need it.
