Hi, my name is Klaudia. I am a counsellor specialising in working with children and adolescents. I have been providing counselling via various charities and in primary and secondary schools. I am passionate about listening to and empowering young people to work over any issues such as anxiety, bullying, stress, self-harm and low self-confidence because I have seen how these issues impact young people's learning, well-being and relationships with others. Before qualifying with Masters in Counselling, I worked as a secondary school teacher which gave me invaluable insight into the challenges children face in the school system.
In my work, I focus on the client's strengths and adapt different theoretical approaches to best suit the child's needs and preferences. If your child doesn't like to talk about their feelings, that is not a problem as I use various creative and sensory media, games, and other tools your child can use to express their inner world.
Seeing your child or a young person close to you struggle can be emotionally draining and challenging at times, especially when access to public mental health services is limited. It is ok to reach out for extra support to guide us. Feel free to contact me to schedule an initial consultation.
