About
Welcome to KJL Counselling. I am a Registered Counsellor, providing advice, support and signposting for issues relating to Mental Health and Child & Family Practice. I have over twenty years of experience working with adults, families and young people experiencing challenges regarding their mental health and emotional wellbeing, specialising in working with Individuals, women and young adults (17yrs +). My approach focuses on integrated styles of working which means I can provide therapy that is tailored to meet each individual’s needs.
I specialise in working with bereavement, suicidal thoughts and behaviour and poor coping strategies, such as self-harm. My background includes working with people to support the difficulties and challenges associated with mood and anxiety such as stress, depression, anger and low self-esteem.
The aim of my practice is to provide a safe environment and supportive relationship to explore together the life challenges that you are experiencing. We will work to identify existing strengths, best hopes and goals for our work together, to provide therapy that works for you!
