As a trans woman, I know what it's like to explain myself to someone who just doesn’t ‘get it’. I believe every trans and non-binary person deserves a therapist who understands them without judgement.
Figuring out who we are is difficult enough without the crowd of people out there who don't want us to exist at all.
You may be having issues with your relationships, mental health, or be unsure of where you want to end up. Transphobia, misogyny, or homophobia may be be obstacles for you in your daily life.
I want my therapy room to be a safe haven for trans and non-binary people. I believe in self-identification and self-determination, which means in my sessions I accept that you are who you say you are, and I will give you the power to decide what you want from therapy.
My role is to earn your trust so you can bring your full self to our sessions.
