As a counsellor, I will offer you a confidential space to explore the issues you are facing, the questions of meaning and possibilities of resolution; to work through difficult emotions and look for peace with the past. I work with people on issues around depression, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, bereavement, past trauma and abuse, identity and diversity. Your sessions will be a place where you can have the freedom and safety to be; to develop your own identity, accept yourself and make positive decisions about your future.
I work with individuals and couples, offer Reflective Practice and supervision. I am a culturally-sensitive practitioner, and have worked with issues around diversity and inclusion, racism and bias.
I aim to establish a good working rapport from the beginning, offering warmth and curiosity without judgement. I believe that being in a genuine engaged relationship with clients creates a safe environment for them to process the painful and difficult and compassionately find resolution, management strategies or ways of healing.
