About
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons as we all experience difficulties in our personal and professional lives. Maybe you are struggling to cope or feeling hopeless, down or sad; maybe something just does not feel right and you are not sure why; maybe you have been holding onto something for a long time or trying to make sense of new thoughts and feelings. Whatever brings you to counselling, you are your life experiences are unique and seeking therapy is an opportunity, away from friends and family, to explore and make sense of how you are feeling.
I am an integrative therapist and my relational and collaborative approach incorporates psychodynamic, humanistic, transpersonal and gestalt methods of therapy. These enable us to gently explore the the difficulties in your life right now.
As a counsellor, my role is to provide a warm, compassionate and supportive environment that enables you to explore your situation in a way that can lead to new perspectives. Perhaps a new understanding of yourself can empower you to make meaningful choices and changes.
