Sometimes we lose touch with ourselves and grow numb, perhaps because we didn’t have the right environment growing up, or because things have happened in our lives and we have become stuck. Difficult things happen in our lives but when we feel isolated and alone with them these experiences can become traumatic. You may already have a sense of what you want from counselling, or you may just feel something's not right in your life. You may feel distressed, or you may simply want to be curious about who you are and who you hope to be. Even if you have a supportive circle, it may be easier to talk with an independent therapist.
I am a trauma-informed counsellor who works with the person and not their problem or diagnosis. I offer a confidential space where you can explore your feelings and thoughts in your own time, privately. I will be beside you, helping you identify, understand, and address your worries. I am also a Group Therapy Facilitator and Trauma Informed Trainer.
Counselling can really make a difference when things get hard – feeling understood, safe, and genuinely accepted helps. Looking for the right support can be daunting, especially when you are already feeling low and confused. Whatever it is, together we can work to ease your pain and heal what hurts.
