Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Dr Sally Field and I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist with seventeen years experience and the founder of Kingston Psychology Clinic. I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and also fully accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Having trained and worked in the NHS for over ten years, as a senior Clinical Psychologist and Department Lead, I have been running a private practice serving the Kingston Upon Thames borough since 2013.
I am trained in a diverse range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and EMDR. I have significant post qualification experience and can adapt both short and long term interventions to meet client's needs.
I believe that with the right support, people can make valuable changes to their lives which can significantly improve their quality of life. I work hard to form a trusting and collaborative relationship with people, and strive to engage people in therapy in a warm and meaningful way whilst compassionately addressing difficult issues.
