I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist, EMDR and Advanced Accredited Schema Therapist. I provide evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation (sense making) and intervention to adults experiencing difficulties such as trauma, relationship difficulties and emotional distress. I provide bespoke therapy to support you in making sense of, and addressing the difficulties that prompted you to seek therapy. From assessment I will get to know you and together we will develop an psychological understanding of your difficulties. Improving the understanding that you have from a psychology perspective(formulation) can in itself be beneficial for many people. At this point I will recommend a therapeutic approach and propose a plan for intervention for you to consider
I emphasise the importance of therapeutic respect and seek to ensure therapy is a safe space where you can confidentially discuss your concerns. I work flexibly and therefore can offer sessions that fit around your lifestyle, this includes early morning, evening and weekend sessions. I offer video and telephone appointments.
