Hi, I'm Kimberley (she/her), an integrative person-centred counsellor. This means I draw on different therapeutic approaches to adapt sessions to the needs of my clients in a collaborative way. Therapy works best when it's personalised and tailored to the individual, and provided by someone who is compassionate, down to earth, welcoming, and real. I strive to create an environment where my clients feel seen and heard, and where they are valued as the individuals that they are. My practice aligns with my personal values of justice, intersectional feminism, compassion, and authenticity.
I can provide accessible and flexible counselling for clients who are disabled, chronically ill, neurodiverse (eg. ADHD and autism), and those with complex, co-occurring, or fluctuating conditions. I am LGBTQ+ friendly and offer a non-judgemental and accepting space. I specialise in complicated grief and loss, bereavement, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
Through my experiences both as a counsellor and as a client, I've found that therapy can be an incredibly powerful way to promote change, self-acceptance, and healing.
