Looking for therapy can be daunting, whether you are considering it for the first time or perhaps seeking a new perspective. Together we can illuminate and explore what is happening for you and my hope is to be present as you cultivate self-awareness, compassion for the self and a deeper understanding around your responses and reactions, challenge unhelpful core beliefs and thought patterns, and process or reframe experiences, events or feelings from the past. My work is collaborative, compassionate, person-centred and trauma responsive, and I can hold a space for you while you heal, grow or change.
I have over two decades of experience in holding space for individuals, families and groups. My background includes clinical, therapeutic and educational roles in the NHS alongside work in community health projects and 3rd sector organisations. As a facilitator of Trauma Responsive training my work is heavily influenced by this approach.
I work with anyone over 16 and offer either short or long term sessions depending on what is required. I offer a free 15-30 minute initial call or 30 minute face to face appointment so that we can explore how we might best work together and work out whether my availability and approach meets your needs.
