Announcement icon I am seeing clients via Zoom (video) and phone. Face to face sessions are socially distanced and COVID protocols are in place.
Are you someone experiencing anger, anxiety, worry, stress, negative self-talk, or self-doubt? Does it feel as though negative thoughts, comparisons, “what ifs”, and worst-case scenarios are constantly occupying your mind? Perhaps you’re tired of putting others first and not prioritising your own needs? Are you tired of feeling alone? Or are you feeling overwhelmed and maybe even burnt out from life (and that was even before lockdown!)?
I know from my own experiences and from many years of helping people that putting yourself first and asking for help can bring up feelings of fear and indeed shame. I’ve been there and it sucks to feel this way but the good news is: you’re not alone and it’s possible to find relief.
Together, we can help you discover your ability to build confidence, boost your self-esteem, tackle stress whether it be at home or at work, create healthy relationships with yourself and others, and gain control of the anxiety in your life. When I work with my clients, I use compassion, humour, and absolutely no judgment.

Kieran Mountney's Groups

Martial Arts Therapy

The group is designed for young people (approx. 7-14) and is based on traditional martial arts and in particular, Shotokan Karate. The emphasis of the group is on young people developing relationships with their peers, building confidence, tackling anxiety (and social anxiety), anger issues and building their self esteem. Through the of traditional martial arts techniques young people will learn how to be in control of their thoughts, feelings and emotions and help improve life at home, at school and in their local community.
