About
My name is Kezia, I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse. In addition to CBT, I also offer Compassion Focused and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) based sessions. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. One of my particular interests is working with women experiencing pre/post natal mental health difficulties. I developed this interest after embarking on my own journey into parenthood. I am also especially interested in working with people who experience high levels of self-criticism (including perfectionism) or people who struggle with their self esteem.
CBT has a strong evidence base for many different emotional problems including depression, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, OCD, and many others. Together, we will work to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and we will work together to overcome them. I strive to support and empower you to achieve personal goals and live to your values
I believe that we all encounter emotional problems in our lives. I have been where you are and I am here with you. I approach therapy with a warm, non-judgemental attitude and my style of therapy reflects this. It is important to me that you feel safe and supported. I offer a free 15 minute consultation. Please get in touch and I would be glad to help.
