Hi my name is Kerry, Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. You may be here after experiencing a big stress or trauma, you may be wanting to explore past experiences, or perhaps you just need a safe space to talk and be heard.
Whatever the reason you have decided to start therapy, we can work on this together. By providing a safe, non-judgemental and warm environment, we can explore this together so that you feel heard and understood but most importantly, that you have a better understanding of yourself and your needs, helping you work towards your goals, whatever they may be.
Although I have experience in a wide range of issues, I specialise in anxiety, chronic pain and illnesses and grieving the loss of pets. The reason I specialise in these areas, is because of personal experience, but also noticing these areas are often missed or minimised and I recognise the impact is far greater than is generally noted.
My own experience of therapy has informed how I work as a clinician. I understand how daunting and scary starting therapy can be, I also know what a difference having a warm, empathic , yet strong therapist can have on that experience.
