Sometimes life can feel like a struggle, a struggle that you feel alone with. It doesn't matter how many people are around you or not, the feeling remains the same, isolation and a lack of support. Interactions with others may not feel authentic, they may bring up feelings of anxiety, a lack of safety or even feelings of deficiency or self-blaim. And the most confusing part is that your experience of yourself alone, or with others, makes little sense.

Such qualities may include, compassion, trust and authenticity. These are principles that shape my work and are fundamental to my practice and the therapeutic relationship.
My approach to counselling uses a humanistic approach, which focuses on growth and development and encourages self-awareness whilst considering the influences of the past and present upon ongoing issues. I integrate into my practice previous roles of working with people, such roles have required sensitivity, support and compassion.
