About
Hello and welcome. I'm a non-judgemental therapist who offers a confidential space where you can feel safe, understood and trusted as you start to explore the reasons why you feel the way you do. I have considerable experience working with anxiety, depression, panic disorder, family/relationship issues, loss, low self-esteem, work-related stress, and addictions (alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex and internet). I have many years experience of working with 12-step programmes. I continue to work with clients online, but am also beginning to see clients face to face in my lovely rooms in Richmond (under Richmond Bridge) and Fitzrovia, W1.
Therapy is immensely personal. As an Integrative therapist I draw on a range of knowledge and skills from different theoretical backgrounds - particularly Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. We are all unique and this way of working helps me tailor the therapy to fit you, rather than adapting the client to fit the therapy.
I believe we can all benefit from therapy by giving ourselves time to focus. Psychotherapy has helped me know myself better. As a counsellor and psychotherapist I will listen to you carefully to discern the key areas of concern, and work with you to enable understanding and consider with you ways to bring about change.
