I am a qualified and BACP registered counsellor working in a person-centred and integrative approach with adults and young people (secondary school age). Reaching out for help can feel daunting but counselling can provide you with a safe space to explore any difficulties you may experiencing, giving you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions and behaviours. As well as private practice, I work in the charity sector with survivors of sexual violence and have experience of working with adolescents within a school setting.
As an integrative therapist, I am trained in a variety of modalities, which means that we would work together to find the right path for you, led by your needs and goals. I have a wealth of experience and training in trauma and PTSD and can offer trauma specific interventions and psycho-education to help you understand how your past experiences impact today.
I have experience in helping clients struggling with anxiety, depression, abuse and trauma, self-harm and feelings of loneliness and isolation. I have helped clients to find confidence and self-esteem within the most difficult of circumstances.
