I am a qualified Child, Adolescent, Adult and Family Psychotherapist, working online via video. I offer confidential weekly psychotherapy for children, young people, adults and families, in a non-judgemental and supportive space, where clients can feel safe in expressing their feelings and experiences. Clients are encouraged to be their authentic selves and to explore both internal and external conflicts at a pace which suits them. I have an integrative approach and so I am able to offer therapy based on the individual needs of clients. Approaches I use include, Psychodynamic, Systemic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Depending on your needs I may use different approaches, for example a systemic approach, which can be useful in helping clients to explore conflicts and breakdowns in communication; Or a psychodynamic approach, which aims to support clients in understanding the impact of past and present events and how this may guide their own actions.
With extensive therapeutic experience of working in various fields, including offending, mental health, Special Educational Needs, children/young people in care and substance misuse, I am passionate about the importance of a safe and therapeutic space for children and young people in particular and understands the need for individualised therapy sessions.
