The key to any successful therapy is to build a trusting relationship between a therapist and a client. I am here to listen and to help you explore your thoughts and feelings, which can sometimes feel confusing and overwhelming. I offer a secure, non judgemental, professional and confidential environment where we work together to try and make sense of how you are feeling. I have experience of working with a number of different issues and I hope that by building our relationship together, we can gain a better understanding of how you can overcome difficulties and move forward.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have a background in working with adolescents and adults. I am trained in Integrative Humanistic counselling and have experience of working with depression, anxiety, stress, self- harm, relationship issues, bereavement, suicidal thoughts, anger, OCD and Autism.
My own life experience and my qualifications have given me the privilege of being able to offer you a place to share your thoughts and feelings in a professional and confidential environment. Initially we will discuss the goals of therapy, which can be either via short or long term counselling and we regularly review the work together.
