About
Hello and Welcome. My name is Katie Hendrick and I am a Counselling Psychologist. I offer a trusted private practice in Morningside, Edinburgh and in Trauma Psychotherapy Scotland, Glasgow, offering short and long term therapy to individuals. With 20 years clinical experience from working in a range of settings (psychiatry, consultancy, Student Counselling, EAP services & lecturing). I have trained in mindfulness; dialectical behavioural therapy; extensive trauma training in cognitive therapy and for the
past few years I have been training and working with the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) . More information is available on this you tube clip: https://youtu.be/VJTnOIG3c5c and further video clips are located within my professional website.
The first step is often the hardest step to make. An Intake assessment session explores the reasons for attending therapy and to ask any questions you may have. Many people contact due to feeling sad, depressed or anxious but there no hard and fast rules. After the first session we can work out if you would like to arrange counselling & regular date agreed.
