Hello and welcome. Deciding to invest in therapy and choosing the right therapist is a big decision. My aim is to create a safe and compassionate space to explore your needs and work towards your goals. I've worked across a range of settings, but focus on supporting adults who may be struggling with depression, anxiety or trauma or who want to find ways to manage emotions that can feel overwhelming or intense.
I use a range of therapeutic models in my practice, including cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing). I work integratively and bring a relaxed and down-to-earth manner to my sessions so that therapy feels helpful and containing.
It's important to get a sense of who your therapist is and whether you can work well together. Therapy is a collaborative process and an investment in yourself after all! If you'd like a brief, informal chat about the support you would like and whether I'm the right practitioner for you, please get in touch by email or phone.
