I offer a safe space outside of your everyday life to think about how you are coping with things. I will support you in navigating difficult emotions in a confidential and non-judgmental environment. My name is Katie, I am a warm, intuitive and compassionate counsellor. I truly believe in the power and process of therapy to help you to heal, grow and deepen your understanding of yourself.
As a therapist, I have worked with many individuals struggling with bereavement, trauma, self esteem, parenting, boundaries, addiction, anxiety and depression.
I use both person centred and psychodynamic counselling approaches, but I’m also interested in less traditional viewpoints: I have spent over 15 years practising and teaching yoga and meditation around the world, and this naturally has a bearing on my therapeutic work.
