About
It can be exceptionally tough to start looking for therapy, and I'm proud of you for doing so today. As both a practicing therapist and as someone who has healed and grown in therapy myself, I know how it feels to be in both chairs in the therapy office. If you are looking for somewhere to create meaning in your life, you are feeling lost or hopeless, or you are seeking emotional support, please get in touch. I’m offering therapy exclusively through Skype, Zoom, and by phone, depending on your preference. While I plan to be back in the office to see people face-to-face when it is safe to do so, I am also excited to see you online!
My name is Kathryn and I'm a person-centred and experiential psychotherapist. That means that my style of counselling is to keep your wants and needs at the centre of all of our sessions together. We will work as a team, and work together to get you where you want to be in life. I have a BSc and an MSc, and I am an accredited member of both BACP and UKCP.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and discovering how we can work together. I especially encourage transgender, non-binary, and gender-questioning individuals to get in touch with me - as a queer non-binary therapist, LGBTQ+ experiences are central to my practice. All correspondences are treated with respect and confidentiality.
