It can be exceptionally tough to start looking for therapy, and I'm proud of you for doing so. As both a practicing therapist and as someone who has healed and grown in therapy myself, I know how it feels to be in both chairs in the therapy office. Our sessions will have you at the centre, and I specialise in helping trans and/or non-binary people become who they really are without judgement. My name is Kathryn (they/them) and I'm a person-centred and experiential psychotherapist. That means my style of counselling is to keep your wants and needs at the centre of all our sessions together. We’ll work as a team, and work together to get you where you want to be in life. I have a BSc and an MSc, and I am an accredited member of both BACP and UKCP.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and discovering how we can work together. I especially encourage transgender, non-binary, and gender-questioning individuals to get in touch with me - as a queer non-binary therapist, LGBTQ+ experiences are central to my practice.
