My professional experience has been working with people affected by mental health issues such as depression, suicidal thoughts and feelings, anxiety and panic, grief and loss among other issues. I also specialise in working with trauma particularly childhood sexual abuse and the debilitating impact of many life areas. I work with what people bring and go at their pace; my approach being person centred and bespoke to the individual.
I aim to create a trusting environment with non-judgemental acceptance that can help bring healing and greater personal freedom. My approach is to listen and respond with understanding, compassion and respect. I use a wide variety of techniques. to help increase self awareness, deepen understanding of core issues and grow in self confidence.
I am passionate about and believe wholeheartedly in the benefits of counselling for any and all who experience emotional or mental health issues. My aim is to bring people's difficult experiences into a compassionate and accepting space and support increasing self confidence and worth.
