Hello and welcome. I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor and I work with people who come to see me with a wide range of challenges and difficulties that they are facing. People often seek therapy when they are at a transitional moment in their lives. Through our work together you will have the opportunity to speak about your experiences and feelings; both now and in your past, and we will work together to develop an understanding of you and your life with the hope that this therapeutic process of reflection and insight might be transformative for you.
Coming for counselling can be a difficult and even fearful moment in our lives but I am here to offer you a safe and confidential space. I am influenced by several therapeutic approaches, but my main approach is psychodynamic which means I will pay attention to every aspect of your lived experience, including your past, as a way of understanding you.
I offer sessions from quiet, comfortable rooms in central Stroud and Cirencester and online. Examples of issues I have worked with include bereavement, sexual abuse, domestic violence, health diagnoses, addiction, infertility, gender identity, eating disorders, suicidality, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and loss of purpose.
