Hello there.
Is someone in your personal life or work place affecting your wellbeing?
How is your situation making you feel? However big or small it may seem, talking together about what is going on for you, will shift your feelings and find a new way forward together. My clients range from teenagers to the retired who come with issues including abuse, domestic abuse and violence, Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), on line dating experiences, relationship difficulties, crime, bereavement, ADHD and Autism. You may have depression, anxiety, substance misuse, self harm as a result of what you are experiencing.
I work with a person centred approach, meaning I do not direct or judge, but provide a confidential space, empathy, a listening ear and respect. I will be guided by you and once the trust is built, i may offer creative ways of working such as sand tray therapy.
I have many years experience working in Women's Refuges and facilitating the Freedom Programme.
I understand the impact any trauma can have and appreciate the courage it takes to make that step in accessing counselling.
