I am a Clinical Psychologist with more than 20 years experience of working with young people, adults (including couples) and families. I work in both the NHS and private practice, in person and online. I am open to working with men and women, younger and older with a broad range of difficulties including those affecting mental health and emotional wellbeing, behaviour, relationships and learning.
As a Clinical Psychologist I draw on a wide range of therapies and therapeutic ideas, using them in flexible ways. This includes Narrative Therapy (NT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Systemic Family Work, Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) and EMDR. My work is attachment & trauma informed.
The difficulties someone comes to me with are often an understandable response to experiences, but at the same time, when these difficulties start to come between a person and the way they would prefer to be, or prefer to be living, then help can be really valuable.
