I work with adults & young people aged 16+. At times life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, emotionally exhausting and relentless, and we may seek professional support to help us find our way through. Feeling lost, lonely, confused, anxious, depressed, grieving or traumatised are just some of the many issues people bring. Whilst our personal stories and the reasons for our distress are ultimately as unique as we are, I have found that clients of all ages share a common goal; the desire to gain new perspectives and deeper understandings of themselves and to explore the possibilities and means of change.
Having trained in a number of therapeutic approaches, I can be flexible and creative in what I offer. EMDR is a powerful scientifically proven psychotherapy which helps people of all ages recover from traumatic events in their lives. I have specialised in trauma & PTSD for 10 years + and have extensive experience of working with survivors of sexual abuse.
I offer a warm, open and judgement-free approach alongside the safety of confidential, professional and ethically informed practice. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is of the utmost importance and meet clients from a place of respect, honesty, compassion, dignity and integrity. I have experience of working within the charity sector and the NHS.
